So I made homemade bread stuffing for Thanksgiving and I was surprised, it turned out good, really good. I also made garlic mashed redskin potatoes that were yummy. To make the I roasted cloves of garlic which I'd never done before and it made everything smell so good. Definitely a good thing that I'm not a vampire. I just like garlic way too much.
So we went to Dan's for Thanksgiving dinner and the day really turned into a Guitar Hero party. I am absolutely terrible at any type of game like that, but it was still lots of fun. Though Hooligans and some red wine may have helped it seem like even more fun. After dinner and a few hours of Guitar Hero the party then headed to Jimmy's 4 Aces for karoke. Super fun time was had. We've got Sweater Sunday coming up in a few weeks which will mean another night of Karoke there. That party is an excellent time too.
Yesterday, we decided to go to Lumber Baron's for dinner which was fun, great company, good crabcakes, but other then that... The food is just ok. Didn't leave me excited and when I do go back, I'll stick to the bar side. Though, we did go to their Martini bar, the Stables after where the band was really good. And just when it seems like the night would end... Oh no. We then headed to Lucky's Pub which is a dive bar for the youngsters in town. Full of 21 years old and way too many boys, it was just a sausage fest in there. After that we headed to a new place to us, Madame Shelly's and that was fun. We stayed for last call and then headed over to Waltzing Matilda to hang out with friends who own the store and the OCH crew. After a couple hours of that we went to the owners house and hung out until about 6:30 am, at which point I just wanted to sleep in my own bed. So today... total lazy day. I did clean up the kitchen and take care of clothes in my room and pick up the house a bit. But I did some terrific napping. It was real good. Tonight, I'm doing exactly this sitting in front of either the computer screen or the TV screen in my hoodie and sweats, relaxing. Its what I do.
