Smallville is Addicting
Last tuesday Smallville Season 6 came out on DVD and we purchased a copy on Wednesday. By Tuesday we had finished the complete season. So that was 24 episodes we watched in less then a week. Then on wednesday of this week I decided to take a look to see when the season 7 premier was. Just so happen it was last night at 8pm. Now, a normal night for the husband and I has us getting home right around 8 from the gym and then I have to make us some dinner. Last night, we made sure we were home by 7:45 and I had dinner ready for when the show came on. This is highly unusual for us. I mean we like our TV but we don't usually make sure we are anywhere to see a show (sporting events are a completly different). If you haven't watched Smallville, it's the story of Clark Kent starting in high school and being a teenager learning about who he is and where he came from. Now, before I met the husband I might have seen a Superman movie, but didn't really know too much about him. The husband made sure all that changed and I couldn't thank him more for it. Though I'm still not into comics, though he really isn't either these days. We watched all the movies, we saw the newest movie. I actually even read 'The Death of Superman' and truly liked it. So Smallville, when we buy a season to watch, don't bother calling. We aren't answering. We call you as soon as the season is over. Though now with actually watching the opener of season 7 that didn't answer all of the cliffhangers yet from last season, I think I have to still watch next week to see what happens there. Then we'll see. I love watching it on DVD so much better then on TV. This is the only show we do this with... so far. As soon as Heroes Season 1 is on sale, I'm gonna let that be my next addiction.
