The Show is Over

Finally, of course it has been 6 days and I'm already starting to miss dance again. The show went well. It was fun, though maybe not for the audience since it was about 3 hours long this year. Doh! Everything went well and I'm glad it is over. In the mean time I've caught up on watching 'So You Think You Can Dance' and I love that show. I also found my notebook I used last summer to write down song ideas and choreography ideas that I never used again. I guess it was a good think thought when I look through the songs and at least 3 of them ended up in our show anyway. I think someone else was inspired by the show too. I'm really hoping a girl wins it this year. I think that would be awesome.

Boat will hit the water this weekend too. So excited. I'll have to write more about that once we actually go out.

Recital Time = Crazy Time

So it's the crazy time of year for me. My dance reciatal is just over a week away so my time when I'm not at the real job seems to be around extra dance rehearsals and making sure I have everything I need done for the show. The good news is I have all the correct shoes and tights and all the needed costume peices, the only thing I want to get our some new false eyelashed because somehow one of my old ones is bent and when I tried wearing it I ended up looking like I had one droopy eye. I've been working on a tan. I've actually fake baked a couple times and I went to the beach last Saturday. To reach a nice shade of tan I'll totally be faking my color with the Tan Towelettes. The best way to use these suckers is at night before bed and sleep through the stinkiness and in the morning wash it away and be left with a nice little glow. I have been hitting the gym a little more often lately, sometimes even twice a day. It's amazing how much better I feel in my skin when I make sure I get a good sweat out of it on a daily basis. Not too mention I've got the 34th birthday next week already. How in the world did that happen? Didn't I just have my 30th birthday like 6 weeks ago? Birthdays don't freak me out. I never lie about my age or play silly games about not getting another year older. But time passing so fast, that is what freaks me out. Not bad. I'm just always amazed how fast time goes. Unless I'm at the doctor's office where time does seem slower there. Oh and at work it can go slowly sometimes.

The new camera has definitely been getting a workout though I haven't downloaded anything in awhile. I plan on working on that this weekend. It'll get a workout this evening too where I'll be off rooting for a friend in the Hooter's bikini contest.
