You Probably Think This Post Is About Me

So the sunburn is healing nicely. My entire nose already peeled and I've been babying my skin and it feels fantastic. I had a couple samples from the Chanel counter from a year or so ago of one is a Hydration serum and the other is a Night cream and my skin feels so soft. I'm also using a Hydro-cortisone cream with oatmeal in it as soon as I dry my face after washing it. The combination of the 3 is awesome. So I've been looking at prices online and am thinking I'll make a visit to Macy's to buy at least one of the products I'm liking. I just don't know if I want to spend that much. I'm queen of the drugstore products but I may just have to splurge here.

I also need to not ever let the no sunscreen on my face happen again. I was wearing huge sunglasses so I my eye skin was OK but I do look like a raccoon and I contemplated using a tan towel on my face to try and even out the color and I may still do it once I see if I'm going to peel again. But I honestly can't wait for any tan on my face to fade out. I like my face nice and pale and I can always add a little color with some bronzer. Right now it's just too much and someone will actually think I'm 34.... Egads!!!! I'm so Vain!

Summertime Slacker

Holy crap am I bad at this blogging thing in the summer. Granted I did take a week off of work during the very beginning of July and am taking random vacation days through out the rest of the month and next month to get some quality boating in but those aren't good excuses. I know the blogs I like to read I like to see new posts to see what is going on in those strangers lives. I'll get back on track.

So as for boating, we've had some good runs. THis past weekend was the Sunsation Rally in Lake St. Clair which was awesome. We got there on Friday about 3 and after we checked in and were hauling off all the goodies they gave us this year, we ran into Carl and Heidi who we met 4 years ago. Later on, 2 other couple we met 2 years ago who are locals showed up and we all got caught up and even went and grabbed some food together.

Saturday morning, we were up and ready to go for the big run which is always scary fun. Scary, becuase there are around 60 boats in our group all going at least 45 mph, usually faster and fun becuase, it's like nothing else you'll ever do. I really enjoyed it, then we had a nice lunch at Mac N' Rays though we got stuck with a craptastic parking spot this year. Then we met back up with everyone and headed to Muscamoot Bay for the Sunsation Raft up, which turned out to be fun. THen back to dinner and the raffle, in which after buying $160 in raffle tickets we won at least $300 in stuff. Always fun!

Sunday, we met up with our friends and went to Gull Island for Aquapoolza which was a Sea Ray hosted family event and I got a fansticically bad sunburn on my face. I can't believe I forgot suncreen on my face. I'm usually so careful about it. Dumb Dumb Dumb!

This weekend is looking good for some more boating so I'm looking forward to that.
