Why I love Thursday Nights

I get to watch 2 different dance show back to back! First, the results show from 'So You Think You Can Dance', where the best part is always the group opening number and last night's was no disappointment. Mia Micheal's piece was fantastic, it felt very 'Alice in Wonderland' with a nice dark twist. I loved it. Other then that the results show is none too exciting for me until the end when you find out who gets kicked off. I was happy last night with how it worked so that it mixes up one of the couples that keeps ending up in the bottom, maybe with new partners they'll shine next week. I'm finally start to pick out the people I'm rooting for but I'll wait another week or 2 before I make it public as to who I'm rooting for.

After that, it is 'America's Best Dance Crew. Love this show. Some of the stuff these crews come up with is amazing and the real battle seems to be the difference between your traditional studio trained dancers (ballet, jazz and acro) and those that are the strictly into hip-hop/breaking. I mean you can see a difference in their lines and in how they hit their steps. I am always amazed when you see a clean, tight routine. This show is quickly becoming my favorite of the 2 this year. I love Super Crew and So Real Crew and of course A.S.I.D since they are Detroiters. The show is just a lot of good dancing, and good music. Along with Mario Lopez who is not aging at all. So not fair!

It all just makes me want to dance.
