Starting Small

So I want to try and get into a regular habit of blogging. I'm going to start with weekly Friday entries and a picture of the week. I'll start small and see where I go from here.



This is a picture I took of the pond this morning. Definitely is fall out there, the leaves are falling and its chilly out there. I started the pond cleanout a couple weeks ago but stll need to climb in and cut everything back. We also were having an issue with algae that I've been treating for the last week and it is starting to get back under control. I want to kill all the algae before we get to regular freezing temps and we put the heater on the pond.

Our crew of 11 or so fish from last year have spent the entire summer breeding and we must have 100 new babies in there and we want to see if we can get the majority through the winter. If we start to get over crowding next year, we'll deal with it then. We know enough poeple with ponds who would be interested in fish. Tee hee. Maybe I'll do a fish giveway. Happy Friday!
